As we head into Independence Day weekend, I wanted to share a thought behind this week’s building challenge.

At first glance, “Red, White & Build” is just a chance to make something fun with red, white, and blue LEGO bricks.

But it’s also an invitation to pause and think about the memories we’re creating.

Years from now, your kids probably won’t remember every LEGO model they built.

But they may remember spending an afternoon building fireworks out of transparent bricks. Or laughing together while trying to make the world’s tallest flag. Or sitting around the table imagining the perfect backyard barbecue.

The build itself isn’t the goal.

The conversation… The creativity… The time spent together…

Those are the things that last.

So if you haven’t tackled this week’s challenge yet, don’t worry about making something perfect.

Just build something together.
