I’ve talked before about families who permanently glued together their favorite LEGO display models.

Recently I learned there’s even a special glue designed for LEGO that holds pieces together—but dissolves in water when you’re ready to take them apart.

Personally, I still lean toward no glue.

To me, the magic of LEGO is that today’s castle becomes tomorrow’s spaceship. Every model is temporary, and every brick is meant to become something new.

But I also understand why some families want to preserve a special creation or keep a display model from constantly falling apart.

So I’m curious…

Where do you draw the line?

Would you ever let your kids glue LEGO pieces together?
